1: Create an Account

Sign up and create a free account. 

Go to Settings, complete your profile and set up 2FA security.

Go to 3 bar menu and set your locker PIN.

You can then experience the power of Privatlocker as a single user, single locker owner and secure some of your most important documents such as your will and life insurance policies. 

If you want to add more users, lockers or documents, upgrade to a paid plan. 

2: Upload Documents

Our taxonomy experts have created a typical folder structure for you as standard. Navigate to a Category and one of the 100 standard Folders already created for you and click + to upload files.

Your checklist to organise your documents into the standard Categories or create new ones for efficient safekeeping.

You can name the document, move, delete and restore or delete forever. And our powerful search feature makes retrieval super fast.

Alternatively click + anywhere, then click the 3 dots menu to move the file to the desired folder location.

3: Explore Settings

ACCOUNT SETTINGS

Click your profile icon at the top right to go to the Settings menu. 

You can manage folders, users, lockers and tags as well as customise your security and notification settings. Create and delete folders to personalise your experience.

Select “Wishes" to create an end-of-life plan and articulate your end of life wishes. 

Your Privatlocker Trustee will be granted access by providing us with your death certificate and they will be able to reset your PIN to allow access to any documents that are PIN protected.

We cannot read, use, share or access your Privatlocker. 

Storing valuable documents and files is something we take very seriously at Privatlocker which is why we built our site on Google’s cloud and why we have implemented Zero Trust and Zero Knowledge protocols so that nobody, not even staff at Privatlocker can access the documents and files stored in your account.

We have 2FA (Two factor authentication) built in as standard and you can strengthen the security on your account by adding PIN protection on each Locker.
